About Me

Nicolai von Oppeln-Bronikowski

I am currently the Glider Operations Manager at Memorial University of Newfoundland. I am also affiliated with the Ocean Frontier Institute (OFI) and the Autonomous Oceans Systems Centre (AOSCENT).

My background is a mix of oceanography and engineering and I have an interest in a broad range of topics. Fundamentally my research involves using new types of measurements to improving our understanding of the ocean-atmosphere system. Many of these projects involve gliders and involve new sensors, ways to use gliders or to interpret the data.
